We had a wonderful stay! The house is clean and beautifully decorated. The location is very convenient to both Wells and Ogunquit. We were a short drive from our favorite beaches and restaurants. The hosts were responsive and very easy to work with. We would definitely stay again!

Had a great family stay at the Lake House with two small children (2&4). Really nice layout of the house, plenty of sitting areas, and a beautiful sandy beach for us the play in the lake all day. The lake was really shallow by the beach/docks so easily swim able for everyone. Host super responsive and kind.

I really enjoyed my stay. Amy was very nice and responsive. The check-in/checkout process was smooth and easy. The house is very clean . Overall it was a comfortable and cozy stay. I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was spotless, beautifully renovated. It’s apparent how much time and effort Ned and Amy put into this home. It had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing trip. It was perfectly located, close to several beaches, yet far enough away to avoid the crowds and enjoy some peaceful downtime. One of our favorite features was the firepit, which made for a cozy way to unwind each evening.
Amy was an incredibly thoughtful host, she even brought over a hairdryer when we needed one! Be sure to stop at Congdon’s Donuts just down the street (don’t miss Congdon’s After Dark for food trucks and live music.
We loved being outside the hustle of Portland but still close enough to explore the city. The sunset boat tour with Portland Discovery was a highlight. We saw gorgeous views of wildlife, lighthouses, and stunning coastal homes. Shopping was good too!
If you have time, take a quick trip over to Marginal Way and Perkins Cove!

Great house on a nice lake. Host was super friendly and responsive and neighbors were friendly. The house was very clean and the layout makes the view of the lake the best part.

I grew up going to Wells every summer for vacation and had not been back in over 30 years. Thank you for helping me make some of those same memories with my father and my family. My boys had never been to Maine before and we made memories for a lifetime.

This was a wonderful spot to get away for a few days. The home is spotless and every room is incredibly comfortable. The layout is great, right on the lake and the view is lovely. Everything you need is there, including phone chargers in the bedroom drawers! Amy is extremely communicative and so accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

It was one of the best trips I have ever taken . Amy and Ned were super friendly- Amy even drove up to us at night to check on a slight problem the refrigerator was giving. The house was breathtaking and I would 1000000% go back and choose the same place! Thank you guys so much!!

Our family enjoyed the Sunshine Shack so much! We contacted Amy as a last minute option to avoid some snow in New Hampshire on our east coast trip over Thanksgiving. She was so accommodating and we couldn't have been more pleased! Such a quiet, cozy, clean place with beautiful views!!
We would love to come back and highly recommend!
